Beatles Butcher Album Cover 3rd State Yesterday & Today
For sale here is a 3rd state Beatles Yesterday & Today "Butcher" album. I bought it in its 2nd state two weeks ago with the purpose of peeling it. Every 20 years I peel one, and they get tougher with each passing decade as the glue has longer and longer to lock on to the original cover, I believe. This is the third one I've peeled. The photos tell the story, but here are some things to note... I left some fuzz/glue on the cover as I feared going any further with the peel might do more harm than good. There is some slight warping of the cardboard due to the moisture added to do the peel. There was already some splitting on the spines.
I applied a light coat of clear fixative to the cover upon completion for improved displayability and to stabilize the trauma inflicted on the original cover.
