DAVID BOWIE Job Lot of x9 Vinyl Record LP Albums Rock, Glam 1970's
David Bowie Collection of x9 Vinyl LPs. All albums have spent most of their lives in the protective sleeves but of course they are quite old now and will have signs of this, some corners of covers have light edge scuffing, record may have indented a little on to the cover, the inner paper sleeves tend to go off colour a bit due to age.
I don't know how to grade them as such, I would say they are in good to very good condition. I have looked at each as I photographed them and noted overall condition of vinyl on each and any other things to mention. I soon realised I had taken 90 odd photos of the nine albums and I had 24 photo slots so apologies but I had to combine loads together to be able to show all photos taken. If there is anything you want to see that isn't clear please let me know. Will be well packaged for posting and sent insured via tracked service.
Vinyl looks in very good condition, I can see there are a few light fingermarks on vinyl on each side. Light bits of dust on each side. No noticeable scratches and looked very good. Rise & Fall of Ziggy Stardust. RCA SF 8287 LSP4702 Victor (Green Gem, Mainman). Vinyl looks in very good condition, couldn't see any issues on either side. Inner paper sleeve some points which I photographed to show; a couple of marks maybe dirty fingermark or similar, the glue has dried out on top part of sleeve opening so one side comes apart a little way as shown, noticed wear on outside edge of paper sleeve and created a hole where edge of record has rubbed over time. Vinyl looks in very good condition, evidence of light finger marks/smudges but couldn't see any issues with any scratches on either side. Album includes the paper lyric sheet, looks good, nothing bad to note on that, inner paper sleeve looks average to decent condition for age. RCA RS 1009 LSP 4852 Victor. Vinyl looks in very good condition, no scratches seen on either side. Little specks of dust on both sides.Album includes the printed lyric sheet, looks good condition, nothing bad to note. I note there is a tiny dark spec on cover which I've taken a close-up of.
Inner paper sleeve looks average / decent condition for age. Vinyl looks in very good condition, no scratches seen on either side I could see. Album includes printed poster which is in great condition, looks like it has hardly been opened, I opened it up very carefully to photograph and then gently folded it back. The inner sleeve has dark yellow-brown age staining on one edge on both sides of the sleeve. RCA Victor S SF 8244 LSP 4623.
Comes with printed lyric sheet (which although in great condition has a tiny scuff mark on it, photographed to show). Couple things to mention on this one. Out sleeve glue has dried up and edge has come apart - see photograph. The vinyl has a light scratch on side one going across track 1 and in to 2.
Light mark on side 2 on outer track. There are fingermarks that look like dust marks but didn't wipe away when brushed over. And to note some age/brown discolouring along one edge of the paper inner sleeve. White outer cover has picked up some light grubby marks over time. Vinyl does have a couple of light surface scratches.
RSA Victor S RS 1003 ALPI0214. Comes with inner lyric sheet which is in very good condition, no issues. Cover has dried glue edge so has come apart. Vinyl looks good with no scratches seen, some light dust specks but that was all.Cover is gatefold, there's brown age staining on one edge of paper inner sleeve. There's a tiny'indent' in a side 1 track, don't know if that's from manufacturing, very tiny indent spot.
Side 2 has a light surface scratch which goes across tracks 1 and 2.
