The Beatles White Album Wonderful audio. ALL COMPLETE WITH THE CORRECT ARTWORK & 1st LABEL ERRORS TOO! Catalogue Number: SMO 2052 Here's a VERY well looked after Beatles album. This is a RARE French pressing made for German export! In late 1973 the EMI pressing plant in Hayes, London was being remodeled and for a short time farmed out some of their vinyl pressing to the Pathe Marconi plant in France.

They sent the UK stampers and used UK covers. They even copied the Mfd. " labels, but added "Made In France by Pathe Marconi at the top. These are now quite hard to come by. These very 1st pressings had the rarer text: "An EMI Recording" just below the central hole.

The vinyl, is in wonderful condition. With clean and clear playback. Just a few light marks to her and the few I can barely see when angled towards the light are so faint they hardly register on playback at all-certainly no skips or jumps found when I listened to both of the records all the way through on my Focus One deck. There is one more pronounced mark to track 2, side 1 (Dear Prudence) where some revolutionary pops start around 3/4 of the way through the track but have gone completely by the start of the next track, Glass Onion. It didn't make my needle jump or stick and I was on quite a light setting. Even the run-ins are lovely and quiet. Really just a light bit of background pop n crackle but only noticeable OCCASIONALLY in the quieter sections... The majority of the audio playback is wonderfully deep and rich and clear as a bell : 125g / 117g Matrix numbers: These are very confusing and unusual matrix numbers here..

Side 1: YEX 709-21 / M6 262622 Side 2: YEX 710-21B / M6 3 10 27 7 1 Side 3: YEX 711-21 / M6 311 664 1 Side 4: YEX 712-21 / M6 26262 1 (with a'P' etched above the last matrix number) The Labels: NMint WITH SPELLING ERRORS They are in a NMint condition.. With just a handfull of incredibly light spindle marks which are only visible when angled towards the light. NO WRITING They are the very first pressing with the darker labels. "An EMI Recording" to each of the labels, just below the central hole. The spelling mistakes/label errors are: Firstly each disc has sides 1 & 2 rather than the traditional 1,2,3,4.

Track 6 & 7, side 2 of disc 1 has capital'T' on "Why Don' T We Do It In The Road" & Don' T Pass Me By. " Side 3, track 4 has the spelling error of: "Everybody's Got Something To HYDE Except Me And My Monkey VERY, VERY DISPLAYABLE.

The Cover: EX+ She is fully laminated and in simply magical condition too. With just a couple of very small crescents of spidering near the opening; she really is a keeper. Superbly strong spine and wonderfully sharp corners too. The Inners: EX Both of the inners are the original BLACK die-cut inners.

One has a small 3cm split to the bottom and the other has a fine 3cm split to the side.... NO writing They have certainly done their job in keeping the vinyl in great condition. The 4 pictures: Not present but easily obtainable online. There are some small spots of blooming to the paper due to age but nothing to worry about at all.

It has a glossy shine. PRINTED and MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN by GARROD & LOFTHOUSE So folks, Grab this little beauty for the incredibly well looked ALL ORIGINAL package. An increasingly rare pressing in France, for the UK market. MADE BESPOKE FOR EACH RECORD I SELL. UPDATED PRICES FROM JAN 2022. This item is in the category "Music\Vinyl Records". The seller is "73nathanael" and is located in this country: GB.
